This week the sad news that dear friend Kim Bor passed away,
I had known Kim since the age of 13....and can only think of warmth affection to such a lovely lady....we had good times... We first met on a dancing cruise... and hit it off I was the only dancing boy on the cruise !! then we met again at collage at Laine theatre Arts again I was the only boy!!
and boy did we have some laughs......
Then we worked together on a number of shows and tv specials for Dougie and some great stories of Kim.... never frightened of anything.. loved her spirit!
As I started to choreograph Kim worked with for me and continued our friendship with laughter!
a great story teller!!!!In this time Kim met the love of her life Steve, what a dynamic couple....
the fire of steve and his passion for the business, and Kim's eye for detail business skills ... costumes and picking fabulous dancers so Bor Productions were created and worked their socks off in this tough business... I was fortunate to work for them as a choreographer all over the world.. they sent me to some amazing places....with some special people.... crazed cruise directors!!! some wild shows.... that only Steve and Kim could create!!! BUT GOOD TIMES....
As we all moved on Kim and I enjoyed working together on the costume side and always enjoyed our meetings and working together on some amazing costumes...She loved the shows ... and I was always in admiration of them both, They have three amazing children who have the Bor passion for what ever they do..... dear little pisti was born to be in the business... and has worked so hard in everything he does... Then talk about generations Valentina worked for me as a dancer and there she has the Bor spirit by always training into another skill, from silks to adagio act and now a rollerskating act
and young William whom I don't know but here he is great sportsman....
I wish them all my love at this sad moment in life but know they will be strong and be guided by Kim"s spirit....
Dear Kim..... I will think of you with warmth in my heart love Antxxx
