THE CARL ALAN AWARDS 2016
Once again an excellent entertaining and fulfilling evening was organised and presented by the Theatre Dance Council International for the Annual Carl Alan Awards 2016 Ceremony at Paradise Rooms Blackpool on October the 8th.The Oscars of the dance world and were awarded in Three Dance categories Theatre, Free Style and Street
The Carl Alan nominees are special people who in some form have made a significant contribution to world of Dance.
The audience were dressed to befit the occasion and there were some outstandingly stunning outfits worn by the enthusiastic audience who entered into the ceremonial spirit of the occasion of celebrating Dance in its many forms.
Phil Winston’s Theatreworks opened the cabaret and performing two contrasting performances .The glamourous opening fitting for the occasion and the contrasting finale with dynamic choreography from the talented students of Theatreworks. Guest dancers Kalim Badenhurst Free Style,Ali Rasul ,Theatre and Kyron Anthony ,street All made a big impression, on the various styles of the Awards.
The excellent vocal talents of Lee Ormsby rounded off the cabaret with a powerful selection of Musical Theatre most popular hit songs .
