THE CARL ALAN AWARDS 2016
Once again an excellent entertaining and fulfilling evening was organised and presented by the Theatre Dance Council International for the Annual Carl Alan Awards 2016 Ceremony at Paradise Rooms Blackpool on October the 8th.The Oscars of the dance world and were awarded in Three Dance categories Theatre, Free Style and Street
The Carl Alan nominees are special people who in some form have made a significant contribution to world of Dance.
The audience were dressed to befit the occasion and there were some outstandingly stunning outfits worn by the enthusiastic audience who entered into the ceremonial spirit of the occasion of celebrating Dance in its many forms.
Phil Winston’s Theatreworks opened the cabaret and performing two contrasting performances .The glamourous opening fitting for the occasion and the contrasting finale with dynamic choreography from the talented students of Theatreworks. Guest dancers Kalim Badenhurst Free Style,Ali Rasul ,Theatre and Kyron Anthony ,street All made a big impression, on the various styles of the Awards.
The excellent vocal talents of Lee Ormsby rounded off the cabaret with a powerful selection of Musical Theatre most popular hit songs .

The awards were in five categories of awards in each section of Theatre,freestyle & street Dance... Congratulations to all the nominees.

A flash back of a crazy day in my time in Blackpool, breaking the world record of 8000 Brownies learning the cha cha slide .. we did classes all day teaching 8000 ! then at 5pm they performed it all over the park.... and we broke the record... fun when you look back !

I was so thrilled to see it.. and a bonus to have it.....I miss Jamie very much .. always in my thoughts....and in my heart x I never had seen a Jamie painting......
WEEK END IN THE COUNTRY !
The weekends go so fast.... But went to see Bridget Jones confession I loved it!
Renne is fabulous! so is Colin (heart throb!) and Bradley.... laughed ... cried ....
I know its a girlie film... but I enjoyed it!!!
Then Sunday Janet and my mum came round we went for a terrific lunch at "Mitte ABOTT"
My fav restaurant near us.. then a went for a walk around the gardens at Leckford...
then my younger brother called to say he won a big golf tournament .... bless my mother was so proud!

there was a river no bridge but a a ferry .... and we didn't need to go over it in the first place..so had to go round the round about and return !
